Valentine's registers date this photograph to 1901. The card is unposted and I'm unsure of the date. This is one of the earliest cards of the Albert Memorial that I've seen, although perhaps not the oldest photograph of it outright. It was errected in 1865, shortly after the construction of the park and surrounding estate by Christ's Hospital.
