Valentine's registers date this image to 1896 and the card is of a format most similar to the earliest divided cards I've collected from them, posted in 1903. A woman in Edwardian Dress is looking upon the same scene as the photographer, with the bridge, factory, Nag's Head and Steven's Boat Yard.
