Possibly 30th April 1913. The Faringdon Advertiser of May 3rd 1913 describes floods that filled the cellars on Stert Street, Broad Stret and the Vinyard on Tuesday the 29th April 1913. On the following Wednesday the fire brigage used hand pumps to empty the cellars of water. Look closely and you'll see a delivery bike belonging to Cottrells - a butcher on Stert Street.
