I'm not 100% sure of the date of this view of the river. The Rotary Photographic Company was founded in 1901 and traded until 1916 by some accounts. The "Sunk gem" series consists of real photographs, placed in a sunken embossed section of the card, and then laminated. Dated examples on eBay seem to be predominantly from 1907-1913, at the time I wrote this (August 25) posted cards available on eBay were postmarked 07,07,07,13,07,09,12,08.
