| Message | Culham College. The date you require is July 5th. I shall not be home until July 6th which is rather unfortunate. I cannot accept your apology fore a short letter owning to post-time, but I thank you sincerely for your ongoing services to me. You know what is suitable better than I do. Am pleased Horace has commenced school. Why did not Robert drop a line or two. It is a great pity and he cannot be excused. |

Clara Fawley, born 1879, is listed as living in Darley Bridge in the 1911 census. Robert is her husband and Horace is their child. In the 1911 Census, a Henry Gregory, born 1889 is recorded as a training college student at Culham College. His place of birth is given as Derbyshire S Darley, and is presumably the author of the postcard. I believe he is Clara's Brother (A Clara Gregory was baptised in 1879 in Darley Dale.)
