MessageCulham College. The date you require is July 5th. I shall not be home until July 6th which is rather unfortunate. I cannot accept your apology fore a short letter owning to post-time, but I thank you sincerely for your ongoing services to me. You know what is suitable better than I do. Am pleased Horace has commenced school. Why did not Robert drop a line or two. It is a great pity and he cannot be excused.

Clara Fawley, born 1879, is listed as living in Darley Bridge in the 1911 census. Robert is her husband and Horace is their child. In the 1911 Census, a Henry Gregory, born 1889 is recorded as a training college student at Culham College. His place of birth is given as Derbyshire S Darley, and is presumably the author of the postcard. I believe he is Clara's Brother (A Clara Gregory was baptised in 1879 in Darley Dale.)
