The photograph shows Streatley, a steamer built and operated by Salters brothers Abingdon. She is still afloat, operating, and now owned by the Thames Steam Packet Boat Company in Windsor. I think this is the first postcard I've collected that features a clearly identifiable steamer. Sent from Edith Mary Barrett (b. 1884) of 12 Marcham Road, to Nellie Gamble Edgson. Edith's brother Paulin would marry Nellie in 1912.

The front of an old postcard. The postcard is of Abingdon: St. Helen's Church and the Almshouses
