I suspect this was a mispelling of Holme Park, now home to Reading Blue Coat school in Sonning. The card has been produced as an advertisement for R Lacey, Chemist whose premises are on the right of the postcard behind the two men. Postcards were frequently used to conduct business and this is just one example. The space where the message would have been is printed with a list of the wares for sale (Toilet Oatmeal is an exfoliant). Note the horses delivering goods, and the safety bicycle balancing against the kerb.
