Harold Henderson (1875-1922) was MP for Abingdon from 1910 to 1916. He stood in the 1906 general election but was unsuccessful. His father, Sir Alexander Henderson was the MP for West Staffordshire where the receipient of this card was based. It's difficult to conclusively identify them: enson is a small hamlet and cluster of farms, and there are a number of Marstons living there. Although the colour is quite haphazardly applied to this card, the effect is quite pleasing and the underlying collotype image is good, with fine quality card. The overall effect is quite pleasant. Thanks to Chris Brickwood for identifying the context behind the card and helping with the transcription.
