An early Valentine's photograph dating to 1896, featuring on a later card. St Ethelwold's House (30 East St Helen Street) features prominantly on the left hand side. Apart from the road surface and street furniture very little has changed in this view in the last 130 years. The view features on many postcards, and unposted they are very difficult to accurately date.
