This photo graph is dated to 1900 by the Francis Frith Collection (ref: 45203). It shows St Helen's Wharf, the Old Anchor, The Almshouses and St Helen's Church. Just on the edge of the photograph, a barge is moored against next to a boat house. Behind the roof of the boat house, you can just spot a crane for loading cargo onto boats.
