Postcard is to Alfred Goodey, a notable art collector in Derbyshire - presumably sent by his sister Helen Rosalind Goodey. The Goodey family were from Dorchester. Edith Annie Gillams was born in Abingdon in 1880, I think she was Alfred and Helen's cousin. Edith's daughter was crime writer Anna Clarke. Photograph appears to be taken by Frith's (45202) who date it to 1900. As of 22/3/25 this is my earliest picture postcard of Abingdon.
